A Wikipedia edit-a-thon at the New York Botanical Garden focused on writing women botanists into history.

The English Wikipedia's list is led by the United States president-elect, who topped all other articles with nearly three times more views than last year's #1. But the second-screen effect powered Britain's queen, Pablo Escobar, and O. J. Simpson to surprisingly high places.

2015 was the year of the movie on Wikipedia, with eight film-related articles in the top 25—and one climbing all the way up to No. 3 in the last two months of the year.
